Posted to SISPEC to continue training to become a commander. Questions i have been probing myself why i wan to go OCS? some of the reasons i can think of is because for what they do, benefits and such. But come to think of it, if a officer is going to ask me why i wan to become a officer. I am dumbfound! Seriously to me, my main idea of getting is to show ppl that i can become one officer. But the really thing is that what makes a officer different from men. It is officer that do up planning and lead men into defend singapore. They have a bigger responsbility than the men. Men carry out orders while officers give order. And still the question linger in my mind why i wan to become a officer!!!! I really dunno what to answer. After going through BMT, i realise something if you really wan to be a officer there more that wat you think it is going to take. As a officer, your duty is at a high lvl meaning less space for errors and every decision you make you have to be accountable for it. Noeing that now i am in sispec chance of going OCS would be harder than it is to go from bmt. Interview will be done by the higher authories to determine whether you are fit to be a officer. Seriously i ask myself what i really wan in life? Being a simple person, all i want to be is a person who is able to provide for my family and be successful in life. How to determine successful in life? I wan to be there for friend and ppl around me but is it possible? Am i a person better in planning or executing orders? To be honest i am both. But i wan to be involve in planning. In life, i taught my primary sch player that they have to be a person good in vball but at the same time remain humble. Am i able to do that myself ? The question lingers still in my mind...... |
